Adult Calligraphy Workshop
Developed a 3 hour beginners calligraphy workshop for adults, focusing on modern copperplate calligraphy from a discussion of materials, to how to hold the pen, basic strokes and practice drills, and the lowercase and uppercase alphabet.
Finishing the workshop with an illustrative application of the techniques learned, allowing the participants to go home with beautiful Christmas cards that they have created using a calligraphy pen.
Deliverables included a 10 page workbook, social media marketing, and of course, the workshop itself.
Childrens’ Art Classes
Designing and overseeing childrens’ term art classes, fostering creativity in young minds and allowing their own styles to develop through teaching new techniques and creative thinking.
Throughout each term projects were chosen that balanced engagement, fun, and learning. We explored all mediums available to us, including watercolour paint, paint markers, acrylic ink, acrylic painting, pencil, ink pens, fluid art, collage, paper mâché and more.
